Azerbaijan was represented by SFN Production and Animafilm at MIPCOM, the international audiovisual content market held in Cannes, France, on 12–15 October. Their participation was made possible with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Cinema Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ARKA), which operates under the Ministry.

MIPCOM is one of the world’s leading television and audiovisual content markets. Every year it brings together television channels, broadcasting and streaming platforms, producers, distributors and other industry professionals from many countries.

The market is a key platform for developing international cooperation, presenting audiovisual projects and building new business relationships. The participation of local companies in such events helps promote Azerbaijani audiovisual content on international markets and expands opportunities for co-production.
