The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijan Film Agency are launching the “2025 year Film Support Competition” for films in the post-production stage.
The main objectives of the competition are to stimulate film production, enhance its efficiency, increase competitiveness among independent production centers and other individuals operating in the field, and support co-production initiatives.

Following the issuance of Decree No. 1667 on April 20, 2022, by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, a public legal entity called the "Cinema Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan" (ARKA) was established under the authority of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Subsequently, Cinema Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan was ratified by Decree No. 1880 on November 16, 2022, also issued by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
