The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Cinema Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ARKA) announce the competition for 'Film Projects to be Produced with State Support' for 2025
The competition aims to support the film industry in the country, enhance the expertise of local filmmakers, promote national, moral, and universal values through film production, and encourage private sector participation in this field. It will include various categories such as feature films, feature documentaries, documentaries, animated films, children's films, and student films.
It should be noted that student films must also be submitted by production centers.
The competition is open to film projects presented in the Azerbaijani language by legal entities registered in the Republic of Azerbaijan and active in the field of cinematography.

Following the issuance of Decree No. 1667 on April 20, 2022, by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, a public legal entity called the "Cinema Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan" (ARKA) was established under the authority of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Subsequently, Cinema Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan was ratified by Decree No. 1880 on November 16, 2022, also issued by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
